At Joe Taylor Gardening Services, we recently completed a comprehensive gravel board fencing project in Sandiacre. The job involved removing an old, broken fence and replacing it with a sturdy and long-lasting fence featuring concrete gravel boards and treated wooden panels. This project was completed in just three days, leaving our clients delighted with the transformation.
The first step of the project was to remove the existing broken fence, which had seen better days. We carefully dismantled the old panels and posts, making sure all materials were safely removed from the site. As part of our commitment to environmentally friendly practices, we transported the debris to a recycling plant for proper disposal.
Once the site was cleared, we measured the area to guarantee a precise fit for the new fence. After marking out the positions, we dug holes for the concrete fence posts. Using a mixture of concrete, we secured each post firmly in place, ensuring stability and longevity. The concrete foundation is critical in preventing movement and maintaining the fence’s durability in all weather conditions.
Next, we installed concrete gravel boards along the base of the fence. These boards provide a protective barrier between the soil and the wooden panels, helping to prevent moisture-related damage. The gravel boards also improve the overall strength of the fence, making it more resilient to wear and tear.
We then fitted the treated wooden panels, which had been carefully selected for their durability and attractive appearance. These panels are designed to withstand the elements, maintaining their condition for years to come. The combination of concrete gravel boards and treated wood provides a practical and appealing solution for garden fencing.
Our fencing contractors in Sandiacre worked diligently to complete the entire project within three days. This included site preparation, post installation, gravel board fitting and panel attachment. Despite the challenging winter weather, we maintained our high standards of workmanship, delivering a result that exceeded the customer’s expectations.
